About a year took research and analysis of the climate of various areas of Poland. After detailed verification, it turned out that the most favorable area for viticulture in terms of both location and climatic factors are around the Trzebnickie Hills.
The selected region has become the object of research. The land, hills and history of the place were analyzed. An interesting fact is that over a century ago, vines were cultivated in the Trzebnica hills and to this day you can still find places that still remind you of it.
L’Opera is a project that was created in 2014. The idea was born in the head of a brave and ambitious girl – Irmina Szpak and her two Italian friends who work in the wine industry in Italy.
It all started a few years ago, when Irmina asked them for opinions on the possibilities of producing high-quality wines in Poland.
The L’Opera vineyard through skilful processing of grapes grown with the utmost care proves that Polish lands can offer you the highest quality experience by producing one of the noblest man-made liquors, namely – WINE.
Knowledge, passion, fertile soil, the right climate, and a combination of Italian-Polish hearts – these are just some of the elements that allow you to create the best quality wine for you.
The Winnica logo is a „score”, a pentagram, where individual lines mimic the cracks in the hills of this area. The logo expresses two different concepts:
The first of them is the concept of „art” – the whole, not easy process of creating wine is a unique art. It is a musical „ecosus” that is born when an oenologist begins to produce his own work like a craftsman – turning a grape into wine … just like a musician who turns notes … into a symphony.
The second concept is attachment to the earth, whose location and location allowed the grapes to ripen and give the fruit a unique taste and aroma, unheard of in other parts of the country.

Creating wine is not a job, but a craft like a painter or sculptor. The oenologist models and then shapes his product to get his work of art. This is what wine is, the result of artistry. ELVIS SACCONI (VINEYARD OWNER)
